A few weeks ago, someone went out of their way to post a negative comment (not once, but 4x) on our Facebook. It said:
“$250 for a silk centerpiece. Don’t use them.”
While this individual chose to hurt our small business publicly, I have intentionally removed identifying details to avoid spreading more negativity online.
I also do not believe it is appropriate or fair to the relatives of this man to make their identity public— especially when those family members were so wonderful to work with and more than happy with our work.
Here’s what I will say…
I understand that pricing can feel surprising when you’re unfamiliar with what goes into a professional product or service such as event design—so I am happy to clarify.
Our $250 silk centerpiece is not a mass-produced item or a disposable product. It is a premium, professionally designed rental created using high-end silk florals that closely mimics fresh botanicals in color, texture, and movement.
The silk centerpiece in question is also designed at the base of a beautiful gold candelabra that holds 10 candles encased in glass cylinder covers.
These silks are significantly more expensive than standard craft-store florals and are sourced specifically for premier event work.
This is what is included in the price:
• A professionally designed arrangement created by a trained floral designer
• Glass cylinders and vessels selected for scale, proportion, and finish
• Brand-new batteries for every event to ensure reliability and safety
• Warehouse storage to properly maintain, clean, and protect each piece
• Prep, quality control, delivery, installation, styling, breakdown, and reset labor
• Ongoing replacement of silks and components to maintain showroom-level condition
These pieces are curated for clients who value consistency, elevated aesthetics, and a seamless experience—not one-time-use décor. It’s also a great way to save money. And who doesn’t love that??
