A gentle reminder from your planner friend:

Important event information deserves more than a text message.

Emails create clarity. Phone calls create connection. Texts get buried while I’m running events, managing logistics, site visits, timelines, installs, and real-time problem solving.

If I miss a text, it’s never personal — I’m just not built to professionally communicate through 400 scattered text threads.

This goes for everyone in my world: clients, vendors, venues, collaborators, friends.

The true behind the scenes ...

When I first started in the industry the Ketubah was handed to me in a tube and it was put on a table and we used bottles of wines in the corners to keep it flat for signing.

Today I look back on that and LAUGH OUT LOUD! Ketubah matting is something I highly recommend to my clients! Whether you go to a framing place of your own or go to my recommended Galleria Fine Arts ... you need to do it! You don't have to frame it before your ceremony but I highly recommend you to get it matted with a foam core board and a clear slip in front of it for signing and then display for ceremony! This makes it easier to sign and display and rabbis will love you being prepared!

My name is Sara Greenberg and I am the owner of Forever Young Events.

I started my company 14 years ago as a side hustle and passion project. I was working full time in a law firm as a paralegal with the thoughts of law school when my dad told me I should start a party planning company and see what happens! I had NO idea where to start and had no idea it would be my career and forever future!

What type of events would I plan? How do I start a business from scratch? I figured let’s start simple … I immediately thought about children’s parties and candy tables. I thought that would be a good starting point to see if I could even turn this idea into a reality.

When I was thinking about a name for the company I landed on “Forever Young” because everyone wants to act young and be young at a party! Just a few years before the pandemic I decided to quit my full time job and run with it. With little to no experience in the events and hospitality industry I had no idea what to expect or how to start but I introduced myself to venues and vendors and before I knew it I was booking parties and weddings at at some of the top locations in NY.

I am thankful and grateful to everyone who has believed in me and trusted in me to plan their events. I am excited to see what the future has in store … 🫶🏻
