I'm sure everyone is feeling the pinch in food budgets with inflation. Let's share some hacks, tips and strategies to let our $ stretch! I'll go 1st. Unfortunately, it falls under the banner of " you have to HAVE money to SAVE money" but it sure works, even if you do it on a small scale. If grocery items are on sale that you use (and ONLY if you use) purchase several. A 25% savings can go months into the future and you won't get stuck buying something for a higher price when you really need it. My pantry always has multiple cans of tuna, tomato products, mayo, p&j and more. I buy this cheese from various manufacturers when it's half price, almost weekly, and it freezes well. It is presliced and works for entertaining on a cheese board, on salads, in parmesan dishes and snacking. Please share, I'd love to hear from you all!
