Say it with personality

Going into 10+ years of Announcing has me thankful for a voice that as a child EVERYONE said was “TOO LOUD” LOL! I didn’t choose to be an announcer, it choose me. An offer to volunteer opened a door and turned on a microphone for me. So much of what it take to be a good announcer comes easy for me which made the choice to turn my attention to the announcer booth and leave riding to a past time and showing to my own children.

When I talk on the microphone, I feel a sense of being heard in a world that drown out not only voices but thoughts. I grew up showing horses, my love of the animal and my competitive side enjoy an eagles nest (announcers booth) view of horse competition.

I feel like anyone who is behind a mic, has an obligation to say what they have to say with personality. Even the dullest of words or the mundane of phrases can be said in ways the ears of your audience will thank you for. Heading into 2020 I have been reflecting on a journey that brings far more joy to my life than I ever thought possible. Thank you for believing and enjoy Mane Pitch, god knows I enjoy all of you!
