YES! I will be doing Mother’s Day minis this year!

In previous years I have done these outside with the crabapple blossoms (who’s to say that still won’t happen spontaneously?), but this year I’m doing something special! I am teaming up with the incredibly talented to create an experience that is dreamy and romantic for mothers and their children. Not only does Katie provide North Iowa with the most beautiful plants, she also creates the most stunning floral masterpieces! She will be working her creative magic to create a one-of-a-kind floral scene in my studio. I am EXCITED. These are going to be GORGEOUS.

A common question I get asked is, “What is your favorite type of photography to do?” I usually start by naming one or two types of sessions and then listing off way too many to answer their question in a way that they were looking for. But the top two I always name first are documentary family and small business branding.

Why small business branding?

I love that I get to support other small businesses in a way that elevates your brand to the next level. When you invest in a brand session, you get to see your business/brand through a new lens and I get high on watching you see yourself and/or your product as the most legit person/idea ever. Once you have professional photos of yourself/service/idea, you get excited all over again about what you’re doing and realize the true value of what you are providing. ....and I get to be there for that...and it is the BEST.
