FOR YOUR ATTENTION:
Please be aware that this Saturday, April 26, and all Saturdays this Spring, the Capitol Theatre will NOT be available for prom photos unless your school has booked the theatre.

The theatre has become a popular stop for students for pre-prom photos (prior to going to another venue for their prom). However we are normally booked with a wedding or another school's prom.

Because the Ice Cream Parlor is open to the public, and we allow public guests inside the main auditorium when we are not having an event, this sometimes causes confusion. While we want to be welcoming and friendly, we politely have an obligation to our clients who have booked the theatre for their special day. While the theatre lobby and auditorium will be unavailable, students can still visit the Ice Cream Parlor and take photos around the outside streetscape including the butterfly park and alley. The theatre can be rented for photo sessions.
