Following up on last month’s Firefighter training coverage — here are additional aerial and ground perspectives from the evolution.

This multi-level container structure provided crews with realistic interior fire conditions, vertical access challenges, and coordinated entry scenarios. From ladder deployment to interior attack lines, every movement was deliberate and procedural.

What continues to impress us isn’t just the visual intensity — it’s the structure behind it. Repetition. Communication. Leadership under pressure.

Our team documented both aerial overviews and ground-level detail to capture the full operational picture.

The completed video will be released pending final client approval. We’re excited to share the full story once it’s cleared.

📍 Snohomish County Flooding | Washington State Flood Update

Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the severe flooding across Washington State, particularly here in Snohomish County, where rising rivers and overwhelmed infrastructure have caused widespread damage to homes, roads, and local airfields.

At Seattle Aeronautics & Media, we had drone teams on site in Snohomish yesterday, assisting with aerial damage assessment, including evaluating potential flood damage to aircraft and airport facilities at local airfields. While this work is technical in nature, it’s impossible not to feel the weight of the devastation we’re witnessing on the ground.

As a Washington-based drone and aerial media company, we take our responsibility to the community seriously. Our thoughts are with the families, businesses, pilots, and first responders navigating the aftermath of this historic flooding. We’re grateful for those working tirelessly to keep people safe and help communities begin the recovery process.

Please stay safe, follow official emergency guidance, and check in on your neighbors. We’ll continue to support flood response, aerial inspection, and recovery documentation efforts where we can, with care and respect.

On a sunny afternoon, a boy with dreams of becoming a film director picks up the controls to a cinema drone, and begins his journey...

We are excited to announce that our Aerial Media team at Seattle Aeronautics has grown, with the addition of Ben, our founder's son. Ben has done an incredible job, learning camera movement and operation in an exceptionally short time and, though he has much still to learn, he's on his way to becoming a great camera op and, per his stated intentions, eventually a great director!

To celebrate his efforts, and partially to demonstrate to him the value of editing skills, we put together this little cut of his first few practice shoots. You can definitely see how substantially his skills have improved over the span of 24 hours, and we look forward to bringing you more videos of his work as Ben continues to progress!

Another of our small creative projects we've recently finished re-editing and rendering; "Autumn Fog"

On a cold October morning, our crew got up hours before sunrise and set out to capture one of our favorite atmospheric conditions; FOG. Above the humdrumery and haze, this morning found a beautiful sea of wisps and mists teasing at the crisp, clear day that was to come. Subtle hints of a world still asleep, the sun rays beat down on crystalline v***r of life transitioning from slumber to half-dream.

Re-premiering a short from late 2002, shot in Downtown Bellevue, WA, fully re-edited, colored, and re-mastered in 4k UHD.

'Bellevue: Elevated Perspective" is a short compilation of downtown , WA shot at dusk, highlighting a beautiful juxtaposition of glass, green, steel, and sunset, calmly floating through while a million tiny people live a million tiny lives in little, glowing boxes.

Although it was at the tail end, we were lucky enough to snap a few shots last night from an . Each panorama is the culmination of 30 individual 8-sec exposures, totalling 4 min of exposure time per final, and ~5 min of total shooting time per photo.
