Wow, what a crazy summer! The only acting I did was at Boy Scout campfires. I spent a month in Pocahontas County running a lakefront aquatics program. I kayaked 15 miles of the raging Greenbrier River. I came home for a couple of days just to turn around and spend a weekend in Pittsburgh for the PVGP. Home again to leave and help build a fence in Gallipolis, OH. Home to DJ an awesome wedding reception. Gone the next day to Wyldlife camp. Home and gone again for family camp at Cowen. Home for a couple of days and then a quick trip to rappel off the New River Gorge Bridge. I preached yesterday and am currently in rehearsals for a one-act play. I've been named technical director for a local theatre, I've been asked to be set foreman for another production, and I'm being recruited to audition for another play. I've also been cast in a movie, but details are sketchy right now. On top of all of that, I'm actively seeking employment to start paying off some of my bills. I am exhausted, but blessed for all of my adventures.

With over 20,000 songs in my music library, I have quite an eclectic taste. I can listen to Merle Haggard, and then immediately switch to Tupac. I'll play Bob Dylan and Lady Gaga back-to-back. I love good music. Lately, I've been jamming on female artists. I'm not embarrassed to say that I love P!nk. I'm a big fan of Jenny Lewis, Brandi Carlile, and Lori Carson. Women often do a better job of conveying feelings through their music. If you're a fan of good lyrics and a great singing voice, check out some of the ladies of music.

Sheryl Crow, Are You Strong Enough To Be My Man, live, acoustic version, Sheryl on accordion, 1995 Sorry it's so loud. My equipment is rather primitive. .
