As an Emmy award-winning Producer, Jessica has been in the background coordinating, scheduling & organizing since 2007. With her start in the TV & Film industry, she learned to perform well under pressure and became an effective problem-solver. Working at a Creative Agency and with companies like HGTV, Microsoft, NFL Films, Reebok, NESN, Staples & Showtime kept Jessica alert and always thinking on

her toes. Moving into documentary filmmaking in early 2014 made Jessica realize how much she loves to tell human stories. The raw emotion, the natural beauty, the realness of it all. While they're just as unpredictable as any other event, a wedding brings an unmatchable feeling of joy, success and achievement to anything in her earlier career. As a former bride, she know the stress that can be associated with planning the perfect day.

Some weddings feel like spring showed up just for them.

Jennifer + Maurice’s day was filled with the kind of joy you can actually feel through the photos. Glowing smiles from morning to night, misty coastal air, romantic candlelit tables, and florals that looked like they bloomed straight out of a painting.

Every detail felt personal to them, right down to the custom surfboard bookmarks that led each guest to their seat. A nod to Maurice’s favorite sport, and their love for the coast. Thoughtful, playful, and effortlessly cool in the most elevated way.

And these two? Fully in their own world all day long. Laughing through cake cutting, sneaking quiet moments in the fog, and walking into married life with the biggest smiles on their faces. The exact energy we love most. Congrats, Jen & Maurie! We are so lucky to have been a part of your special day.

After the final stop on their venue search tour, Delaney thought the day was wrapping up in Kennebunkport. Instead, Claire led her down to the quiet shoreline, where everything shifted. Wind off the water, that soft coastal fog, and thennnn, down on one knee!

The surprise hit all at once. Tears, laughter, hands shaking, the kind of moment you don’t plan for but somehow feels exactly right. Just the two of them (and ) tucked into the rocks with the ocean behind them, stepping into the next chapter we’ve already been dreaming up for summer 2027.

These moments we don’t often get to be a part of as wedding planners, this was a favorite. ❤️

Season 10 begins this weekend.

Our first wedding of the year is always special. It marks the start of a new chapter of celebrations, fresh designs, and the quiet excitement that builds behind the scenes before a couple’s biggest day.

This year feels especially meaningful as we step into our 10th(!) year planning and designing weddings.

A decade of timelines, late night floor plans, linen swatches, weather charts, family dynamics, ceremony rehearsals, creative problem solving, and those moments right before the aisle walk when everything finally comes together.

I genuinely L O V E every part of it. The logistics. The design process. The collaboration with incredible vendors and the best JHW team. (You know who you are!) The trust couples place in us to guide them through one of the most important weekends of their lives.

Ten years in and it still feels like the greatest privilege to do this work.

A Cape Cod classic that never goes out of style. The Wianno Club, founded in 1916, blends quiet coastal heritage with timeless New England elegance, making it one of our favorite settings for refined celebrations. From harbor views to golden-hour light on the lawn, it’s a venue that allows thoughtful design to feel effortless and deeply personal.

Matt & Brooke’s day is just one example of that. ❤️

The big 4 3 today. Fewer trends, better taste, and very good lighting. 😉

Somehow this age feels like the sweet spot.
More clarity. Less chaos.
Better taste. Stronger boundaries. Earlier bedtimes.

(Truly nothing feels more luxurious than a good night’s sleep.)

This season feels a lot like how I design weddings: intentional, refined, thoughtful. Not more for the sake of more… just better.

Better people.
Better work.
Better perspective.

I’m so grateful for this business I’ve built, the incredible couples I get to celebrate, and a career that still makes me excited to show up every day.

43 feels grounded. Confident. Creative.
Still fun! Wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Our final wedding of 2025 brought us back home to the Sourh Shore for an effortlessly chic, cocktail-style celebration at a private estate in Scituate, MA. Equal parts coastal, personal, and wildly fun!

Kim and Casey were married quietly “at home” in Southern California, then returned to their roots to celebrate with the people who know them best.

This is exactly why we love cocktail-style weddings. No seating chart stress. No rigid timelines. Just constant food service, incredible live music, guests moving freely, and formalities that feel intentional instead of forced. From raw bar to late-night pizza, espresso martinis to an after-party under the stars, the entire night felt like a beautifully curated house party, only elevated.

More connection. More movement. More energy. A celebration that felt whole-heartedly like the couple. A perfect full-circle ending to wedding season.
