Happy First Anniversary to Stephanie & Andrew, whose wedding took place last year on June 7th in the Grand Ballroom at Granite Links in Quincy, MA! The couple first crossed paths during their sophomore years at Boston College. They began dating the following year and quickly became a team. After graduation, they both moved to the North End, but separately, with friends. A long-distance separation during the pandemic made them realize they were ready to move in together... and soon thereafter they found a place in the Seaport. Their relationship has almost entirely taken place in the Boston, so it was perfectly fitting that their wedding venue looked out over the city skyline. Their ceremony shared their story so far, and also incorporated this quote from the film “Shall We Dance,” which sums up their intentions beautifully: “In a marriage, you’re promising to care about everything. The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things ... all of it, all of the time, every day. You’re saying, ‘Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go unwitnessed because I will be your witness.’”

Best Wishes to Alyse & Jeff, whose wedding took place Saturday, May 30 at 1620 Winery at Cordage Park in Plymouth! The couple met online and immediately clicked. Within a year, they moved in together, which went very smoothly for them, but less smoothly for their four cats! Jeff and Alyse found this quote online, and asked me to include it in the ceremony because it sums up their relationship really well. “I used to wish we'd met sooner, but now I understand: love shows up right on time. Maybe we needed the lessons, the healing, the almosts and not-quites, so we could recognize the real thing when it arrived. You are my right place, right time.
