A beautiful floral extravaganza closed out the month of July for us. Guests were greeted by a seating chart that was handmade by the father of the bride, featuring beautifully arranged family-made floral arrangements. Sky blue napkins complemented the white candles and greenery garlands, and highlighted the delicate pink and white florals. A buffet dinner was served by , with sheet cake for dessert and a special family-made cutting cake for the bride and groom.

Another wedding near and dear to our hearts was the celebration of marriage of a former Upper Room staff member, Trayton. We loved meeting with Tray and his bride Olivia, and getting to know her and her wonderful family. A beautiful sunny summer day was the perfect way to celebrate these two sunny personalities. From a beautiful ceremony featuring a cross made by the groom, to a sandstone and sage green reception with a delicious buffet dinner and homemade Scotcharoos from . We were even able to snap a photo of our groom pushing the floor scrubber, a former post-event task of his!

Being a part of a couple's special day, from beginning to end, makes our hearts happy! From the getting ready process, to first look photos, hosting the ceremony, and through the last dance of the night- we were honored to be there for it all! Personal touches add so much to a wedding, and this sweet couple made the day their own! From table florals and bouquets prepared by the mother of the bride, to a puzzle and coloring station made up of photos of the bride and groom, and even personalized handwritten letters to every family in attendance. Crisp white linens and florals were beautifully complemented by rich chocolate brown napkins. Lunch time on meeting days is always something that we look forward to. Chef Ronnie with never disappoints!

Featuring platters each of chicken and salmon over a bed of couscous and quinoa, topped with an artichoke salad and house-made chimichurri, as well as assorted grilled vegetables and a lettuce salad loaded with flavorful fruits including rhubarb, strawberries, figs, and pineapple.

Classic black and white never goes out of style, and this sweet couple definitely brought the glam! Beautiful artificial florals highlighted the head table and guest tables, paired with alternating taper and pillar candles. Our busy June kicked off in a shower of pinks and florals! Guests were greeted with a custom-made seating chart and a variety of cocktail hour treats surrounded by photos of the marriages that came before them. Centered in the ballroom was a stunning head table filled with florals sourced from . Our bride was not one to shy away from color, so to complement the alternating pink napkins at the guest tables we sourced beautiful blush and coral- colored taper and floating candles. A delicious buffet dinner courtesy of , cupcakes from the brides sister and mom, , awesome DJ service by the amazing , and a special treat of Atlantic Place pizza and Dippin' Dots for late night food

This was an extra special wedding celebration for us here at The Upper Room, as we were honored to host the wedding reception of our intern, Zoey!

The ballroom was filled with warm candlelight, rich burgundy candles, and eucalyptus complemented with cheery sunflowers. For those who chose not to dance, there were a variety of fun cards and board games available, but DJ Joe Dagel kept the dance floor busy! A wonderful buffet dinner courtesy of , and cupcakes from Julie Blom!
