Every season has its own kind of beauty, but August is something special around here. The gardens are overflowing, butterflies are everywhere, and it feels like every path has decided to bloom at once.

No floral installation could compete with what nature has been quietly creating all summer.

There are beautiful weddings, and then there are beautiful people.

We had the privilege of hosting this incredible family for their wedding weekend, sharing multiple meals together and watching them celebrate the people they love most. From the moment they arrived until the last goodbye, they treated every member of our team with genuine kindness, gratitude, and respect.

The flowers eventually fade, the music ends, and the tables are cleared away—but the way people make others feel is what stays with you.

Thank you for letting Blackberry Springs be part of such a meaningful weekend. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with the same joy and kindness you shared with everyone around you. 🤍

Comfort will never tell you it’s time to leave.

I was curled up this morning — cozy blanket, warm drink, editing footage of last night’s sunset. It really was beautiful. Comfortable, familiar, easy to stay in.

Then out of the corner of my eye, I caught it: this morning’s sun spilling through the open door, beckoning me outside.

How often do we do that in life? Get so settled into what’s comfortable — so busy holding onto yesterday’s beauty — that we miss the door standing open right beside us? The new opportunity. The unfamiliar light. The thing we haven’t tried yet because staying felt safer.

The door was already open. It always is. We just have to be willing to leave the blanket behind.
