It is with very mixed emotions to tell you I will be closing my business. I have taken a job for Raikes Beef Co. in Ashland, Nebraska. I will be the manager of their store specializing in Waygu/Angus cross beef. Keeping my hand in the food business in a different way will be an exciting new adventure. Having my own business and my little kitchen in Marquette was a dream come true. I met so many fun and interesting people. I was allowed to challenge my skill in cooking in more ways than I could ever imagine. Working with Dave Vetter and the Grain Place was a wonderful experience. For all of you who hired me in the last 25 plus years, thank you. I appreciate the loyalty of those who allowed me to work for you over and over. To my girls...Marsha Pawley and Victoria Gustafson Jensen. I couldn't have done it without you. You are the best friends anyone could have. Your families and spouses gave up quite a few things for you to work with me. We had more fun than anything I've experienced working our tails off. I loved what I did and will be finishing my cookbook series when I get settled in. For those of you who have them keep an eye out on my personal page. To my family...Clint and I wouldn't be able to make this transition with our you. YOU'RE THE BEST.
