As I was scrolling through my phone camera roll looking for flower work to post, I noticed I have lots of pics of real flowers and they deserve an appreciation post!

Flowers bring me so much JOY with their natural beauty and variety. I have a thing for botany and identifying new plants, and I absolutely love traveling and seeing the different flora in different parts of the country! Some of these pictures were taken in Michigan, Ohio, California, Hawai’i, and New Mexico.

And if you make it all the way to the last pic, just remember that you’re never too old to stop and smell the flowers 💕

This little bouquet held a lot of meaning 🥹

This customer reached out to me a few days before going wedding dress shopping for her sister-in-law. She wanted to bring a small memento in honor of the bride’s late mother, whose favorite flowers were carnations 🥲

We decided to make the flowers lilac and sage - the potential wedding colors for the April wedding - and got this bouquet RUSH made and shipped within 2 days to make it in time for dress shopping!

It’s such a privilege to be trusted to be a part of special moments like this 💕

I honestly love making prom corsages because they’re more gaudy and glamorous and it’s fun to go a little crazy with them.

Happy ! Throwing it back to where it all started: when we were ballin’ on a budget and I discovered real wedding florals are outrageously expensive!

I saved a lot of money DIYing my own wedding flowers and that was the inspiration behind Rare Heart Faux Florals - making beautiful florals accessible to brides who don’t want to pay luxury floral prices.

One of the advantages of wood flowers is that I can dye them whatever color you want. This customer wanted something unique and requested pastel tones of lavender, aqua, peach, and mint green!

This bouquet was a special keepsake for her mother-in-law who was performing as a lead in a play for the first time in many years 🥹
