DJ Billy James has always been involved & loves music his entire life. He plays the guitar, sings and entertains whenever he can. You'll always catch him with the guitar around the campfire. Prior to deejaying he played in a Christian rock band for many years with System 7. In school he studied broadcasting and this is where he learned about sound and deejaying in general. As a child, Bill's mother was always singing, music would always be playing in the house and he loved it. This could be one reason Bill's knowledge of music is so great, he's like a walking jukebox.

Krystal is vital to the team, setting up the equipment to organizing the wedding party to having an eye for details to make sure the evening runs smoothly and keeping everyone on track. She has experience running the board and mixing music as well.

Who are we? We are a husband and wife team of 31 years that has been providing DJ services to the Thumb area for over 22 years. We specialize in weddings and can provide services for both the ceremony and the reception. With our outdoor ceremony setup we can even provide music and sound in places with no power. Through the years, we have been the favorite dj for many of our local schools dances, proms as well as events and parties for many local business.

What to expect from Sound Experience? Experience is what you get from us. Your wedding is your special night, we do everything we can to provide you with the best service, quality and entertainment you deserve. We will sit down and plan the entire evening with you. We focus on everything from start to finish, not just the music. You can have your guest sing to the Bride and Groom to skip ahead in the dinner line, do the mission Impossible photo table dash, or the traditional chicken dance. Sound Experience is perfect at helping plan all these things for your special day.

Sound Experience has had a very busy winter. Several School Snowcoming dances and a wedding. Last night we were at Deckerville High School, a small school, but big in spirit. The dance was awesome, the kids were great, we will be back to do their Prom. See you guys soon !!
