Matthew and Melissa's Miracle!

I had the honor of officiating Matthew and Melissa’s Wedding on Friday night at the DoubleTree Hotel in Westborough. Their ceremony was full of so much love, laughter, and joy that their family and friends were cheering and celebrating almost like a live sporting event!

Matthew and Melissa’s story began five years ago, in November 2020, when they met online during Covid. Their first date at the Cheesecake Factory in Natick lasted over six hours—they discovered they had so much in common, from their love of cats (Melissa’s Fenway and Matt’s Frank, who now happily live together as Fenway Frank) to their shared love of the beach and the ocean. And the final piece of the puzzle: after their wedding, they now share the same initials, MJT—a perfect reflection of their life together.

It was an absolute privilege to witness their love and joy on such a special night. Please join me in congratulating Matthew and Melissa and wishing them a long, healthy, and happy marriage journey! 🔔🍾🥂

This weekend I had the distinct honor, and privilege, to preside over the wedding of our niece, Ashlyn, who got married to Stephen Christian.

On the grounds of Indian Head Ranch in Franconia Notch, Steve and Ashlyn were surrounded by their closest family and friends where they had a beautiful ceremony with the mountains and sparkling pond in the background.

Steve and Ashlyn met on the dating app, Plenty of Fish, where their journey began the moment Steve swiped right! That was 7 years ago! Steve and Ashlyn are an outstanding couple where their personalities complement each other and their love and respect for each other just kept growing over time.

Alycia and I have been blessed to watch Ashlyn and Steve's relationship evolve over the years and watch them do amazings things together like supporting each other with their careers, make a beautiful home together, travel together and have amazing adventures like jumping out of airplanes together! They also became parents to a four legged baby, their golden-retriever Finley who has brought a lot of fun and joy into their lives. Each passing year it was quite evident that these two found each other's person.
