After 65 years serving the community, we are ready to retire.
It is bittersweet to announce that Germean's is officially for sale. A lifetime family business, Germean’s has proudly been a part of so many important milestones for its customers for more than 65 years. After 35 years of ownership, Lynn Ann and Charles Laborde are ready to hang up their floral wire, retire and spend time with their family and friends.
“The time has come for us to shift our focus to our family and with that comes the closing of an incredible chapter,” says owner and florist, Lynn Laborde. “I have given my life to this business. My children grew up in this shop and I have enjoyed every bridal bouquet, every prom corsage and every casket spray. But the time has come for me to transition into a new season. A season of s’mores, messy paintings and dance lesson pick-ups. I am ready to spend more time with my daughters and grandchildren.”
