Hello Community,
We met with the inspector and have been cleared to get a permit to have the lights turned on at our community center, this should be done next week. There is still more work that needs to be done before we open.

We have received information from the fire marshall and bldg inspector. We are working closely with the contractor to gather all information requested. We are hoping to have all issues cleared in a couple of weeks.

The community planning councilis continuing to world time move the project forward. We are working with the fire marshall and inspector to gather documents to take to the police jury do yhat we can get the permit to turn on the electricity. We are hoping to have the electricity turned in in the next couple of werks.

Hello Friends,
We met with the fire marshall on yesterday and there was one item identified that could be a big issue or a non issue. We will need to wait for the fire marshalls report.
We are continuing to move forward and are hopeful that we will be able to turn on the electricity to the building within the next few days.

Fire Marshall inspection is scheduled for 7/16.

The doors for the community have arrived. Installation should be complete in the next few days. Next step is to get fire marshall and inspector approval, then ac installation. Almost complete.

Just a quick update on our beloved community center.
The emergency doors have been delayed, once the doors arrive and are installed the inspector and fire marshall will be able to complete their inspection and we will begin the finishing touches. Still remaining is the purchase and installation of the appliances.
