The Mariposa Community Chorus is so happy to be back together again, welcoming our new members, and learning the music for our Christmas concert. There are no tryouts. We meet Monday nights from 6 6 PM to about 8:30 PM. It is not too late to join this semester. Call Gail at (661) 496-3701 for more information. We usually meet at the Mariposa County High School auditorium but rehearsal locations can vary so please confirm with Gail where we are meeting.

The Mariposa Community Chorus (Mariposa, CA) is excited to start the 2026 Fall semester. We are very happy to be together again, welcoming new and returning singers while learning music for our Christmas concert. All singers are welcome. We had a great first practice. It is not too late to join the chorus. The first meeting always involves a lot of organizational information and passing out music. The last half of the practice we sang several songs. We would love to have you join the chorus.

Come Sing With Us 🎶🎵 The Mariposa Community Chorus’s Fall Semester practice (for our Christmas program) starts August 10, 2026 at 6pm. The first practice is at the Methodist Church.
Bring a 1” black binder, pencil, and highlighter.
We need all voices, but especially the lower ranges (contralto, tenor, baritone, bass.). Arrive a few minutes early to register.

The Mariposa Community Chorus and the Mariposa Children’s Choir’s Spring concert, May 2026, featured a patriotic program celebrating USA’s 250th anniversary. In addition to patriotic songs, included were favorite songs from different eras, including the theme from Alice, Hair, Phantom of the Opera medley, Defying Gravity, and so many more. We are a nonprofit group and supply a scholarship to a graduating high school student each year pursuing a degree in music or related area. Join us for our winter semester starting August 10, 2026, 6 PM, practice place to be announced closer to the date.

Our Spring concert is at 2pm today, Saturday May 16, 2026. Arrive a few minutes early to buy opportunity basket tickets and get settled in before the concert begins. Here are 2 of the opportunity baskets. There are more, too!
