As we reflect on the first HOCO weekend, we’re holding both the joy AND the moments when we fell short.

*Five Homecomings.
*A record number of orders.
*75% of Saturday’s pickups requested for 10 a.m.
*All the rain. All morning.
*So many dress changes. (I know the mamas were struggling through this, so hopefully you can sip your coffee in peace today.)

All of which contributed to the longest wait times we’ve ever had for a handful of customers.
That truly does not sit well with us.

We understand how carefully your day is planned and how stressful it is when flowers aren’t ready at the promised time. (I had a Freshman going this year and there were some last minute plan changes, so I FEEL THIS.

IF YOU WAITED FOR YOUR ORDER, we sincerely apologize.

We take that seriously, and we’ve already made changes to our pickup limits and production process so we can better honor your schedule while continuing to accommodate the last-minute needs of our school families.

What people don’t always see is everything happening on the other side of the flower counter.

✨Flowers we preordered a month ago arrive late.
✨Couples break up (don’t get me started)
✨Budgets shift (or there is no budget for flowers but your friends don’t want you to go with out so they order day of and we say YES, WE GOT YOU!

✨A dress arrives in a completely different color—or doesn’t fit the way someone hoped.
✨A single dad walks in, looking embarrassed, because he didn’t know his daughter needed a boutonnière. YES, WE GOT YOU!
✨A boy orders a bouquet wanting to impress his date but she wanted a corsage. “He likes her”, his mom says. YES, WE GOT YOU!
✨You order and thought pink and blush would be best with your aqua dress but decide once seeing it in person, you want hot pink, orange and yellow.
YES, WE GOT YOU! (Just come back in a bit! 😘)

We’re with you from the start of your order.

Whether that’s “I’ll just leave it up to you.”

“I just know I want something petite.”

Or for some this is the statement bouquet—the last Homecoming flowers they’ll ever carry.

We don’t just make flowers. We hold the feelings and hear the stories behind them.❤️

To the kids who lost their dates, wore the dress that wasn’t their first choice, had their hearts broken, saw someone’s true colors—or had the absolute time of their lives: you are not alone. Every one of those moments becomes part of your high school story.

And to the girls who built their own bouquets at our Flower Bar: what a joy it was to watch your excitement when you found the perfect shade of dahlia or rose. 🌸

Thank you for trusting us with these memories and allowing us to bring your flower visions to life. We hope your flowers added a little extra love to your Homecoming memory book.
