Saturday it rained on sweet Elyce and Allen’s wedding day, but just as if it were planned, in walks grandma Nancy. Shaking off her umbrella and could not wait to share a story with me that she had just heard about collecting the rainwater on a wedding day and gifting it to the bride and groom to use for their children’s baptisms, blessing, new homes, and just having a super special gift that can’t be purchased from a store or ever recreated again. We ran and got a jar, put it in a spot that would not be bumped over and waited to gift it at the end of the night.
God gave them rainbows, 20+ cakes, and their day captured in a jar! What a beautiful new tradition we now have at The Farm 🤍
