Backyard weddings? Yes, we do those too!
This past weekend I had the privilege of providing full DJ entertainment for a beautiful wedding held right at the couple's own home — and it was absolutely incredible.
Private property weddings have a charm no venue can replicate. But they do require a little extra planning on my end — and that's part of the service! Before every home or backyard event, I get all the details upfront. Is power readily available, or do I need to bring an alternate power supply? Is there shade for the equipment, or do we need to plan for sun coverage to protect the gear? Every location is different, and knowing those things ahead of time means everything runs smoothly on your big day.
This weekend everything lined up perfectly — but that's not by accident. It's because we talked through the details in advance.

Doing a little something different on a Friday evening. I was asked to play some family-friendly tunes for the city block party in Ontario Ohio. I appreciate the great turn out and all the musical requests that came in. See you at the next block party. I am available for your block party should your community like to do that also.

Just a few pictures of this past weekend's wedding located conveniently close to my home base. Big shout out to the new Mr and Mrs Middleton and may they have many years of wedded bliss. We had a hopping dance floor throughout the night and were able to work through a little bit of a hiccup with the caterer for forgetting their order. It's always best to be able to roll with the punches and come out in the end with a successful event. I appreciate the Barn on 49 for having such a marvelous event space and for making me a preferred vendor like so many others have done. They appreciated my lighting and the ability to have a controlled volume for the environment I was in. My gear is based on the location situation and what is necessary to provide optimal sound for every environment. Thank you to all that gave me compliments after the event and that requested my business card. I can't recommend this location enough. The very laid back and ultra-friendly owners make this the ideal location for smaller weddings and any other events you might want to throw. Definitely one of my preferred locations to perform at!

A little trip up to Lake Erie for a wedding and reception. Quaint little ceremony at the beach house along the lake followed up with a reception at the Rosewood Place in Lorain. The rain tried to dampen the spirits but it was unable to do so and everybody had a great time. Congratulations to the newlywed couple and may they have many years of wedded bliss.

Thank you to everyone that came out to Mi Jalapeno to celebrate Mother's Day. I had an enjoyable time playing music for all those in attendance. A large shout out to staff and management for having me come out to entertain their clientele. We played traditional Mexican music along with American tracks to provide a wide variety of music for all the people. Congratulations to the basket winners that the restaurant had for Mother's day. If you would like to see more music played at their location or other activities like trivia or karaoke please let the staff and management know and they will get that on the books for you to enjoy along with their scrumptious food and high-end quality service. To all the moms out there I hope you had a wonderful holiday.

All I can say is wow what a turnout for the bikeapalooza 2026 put on by the neighborhood impact section of the Mansfield Police department. It was an honor to be able to provide fun family friendly music along with MC duties as needed throughout the day. The kids had the opportunity to win one of over 100 bikes along with other gifts like free helmets, face painting, Kona ice and other fun activities to partake of during the 4-hour long event. It was such a blast and the biggest so far, of course until next year, where 2027 will be bigger and better than ever. Thank you to all the sponsors that made this possible and I appreciate the police department for their continued support.
