Prominently located on 3.5 acres in historic Marietta, the enchanting antebellum home lends itself to indoor or outdoor small intimate gatherings as well as large formal weddings and receptions. This attractive home, handicap accessible, is decorated with exquisite period antiques and rugs and the beautifully landscaped gardens include a charming gazebo. until 11:00 p.m. The renter may choose thei

r own caterer as long as the caterer provides the Garden Center with a copy of their business license and insurance policy. The house will accommodate 150 people for a standing affair or 70 for a seated meal. Indoor/Outdoor events can entertain up to 250 guests. A limited number of tables and chairs are available for indoor use.

Semiquincentennial Celebration at Fair Oaks! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Fair Oaks will the site of America's 250th Birthday Celebration on Sunday, July 26th from 2:00pm to 3:30pm.

This is a FREE family event for Marietta and surrounding communities. Fun for adults and kids alike! There will be colonial children’s games; story time with colonial-themed books; author Neely Young will be signing his book “In Their Footsteps: Georgia’s Heroes of the Revolutionary War”; Cobb master gardener and English Laurel Member, Julie Phillips, will have a gardening demonstration featuring red, white and blue flowers; raffles will be awarded; and there will be refreshments to keep everyone cool. This is fun day to celebrate America!

Please welcome our newest garden club: Rooted Together Gardeners! Led by president, Amanda Linder, this club is off to a wonderful start! In just a short time, they've grown to 17 members and continue to welcome gardeners of all experience levels — from beginners to lifelong enthusiasts.

They meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm at Fair Oaks, enjoying engaging speakers, fellowship, and time to connect over our shared love of gardening. The enthusiasm and sense of community among their members has been inspiring, and they look forward to continuing to grow their club.

The March meeting of the Marietta Council of Garden Clubs was beautifully hosted by the Marietta Magnolia garden club.

Attendees learned about “Terrariums and the Challenges of Indoor Lighting” from the Fairy Garden Mother, led by Lianne Whang. Thank you for this informative and entertaining presentation.
