As the largest contiguous green space in the greater Atlanta area, there’s no better place to enjoy nature than at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park! We brainstormed a few different ways you can experience your park.

🥾Go hiking! With over 25 miles of trails throughout the battlefield, there’s a trail for everyone to enjoy! Check out our hiking page for routes and difficulty levels. We even have accessible options! ♿ https://www.nps.gov/kemo/planyourvisit/hiking.htm

🐶Walk a pet! Our park is pet-friendly and a great place for both you and your pup to connect with nature and burn off some energy. Just remember to please follow park rules: pets must be on a six-foot leash, and when it comes to waste…bag it and bin it!

📚Join a program! Every weekend, our interpretation rangers offer special programs so that you can get your history on! 🧺Enjoy a picnic! Bring your lunch and enjoy it at the picnic area near the Visitor Center or in Activity Areas 1, 2, and 3. Remember our Leave No Trace policy: whatever you pack in, be sure to pack out!

🎨Get creative! The battlefield isn’t just for learning and exercise -- it’s also an inspiring place for creating art! Pack up your supplies and Van Gogh to your favorite spot! You can sketch, paint, photograph, interpretive dance…whatever inspires you!

With so much to offer, there’s sure to be something that tickles your fancy! Now get outdoors and enjoy your public lands! We can’t wait to see you! 🌄

Rise 'N Shine Organic Farm has a CSA drop here at The Gardens At Kennesaw Mountain every Thursday.

The best - cleanest and freshest produce and local provisions.

Summer is a great time to hop on their CSA but it goes year round and offers a great variety of items.

Our new flock of hens are enjoying the summer sunshine! We've been enjoying rich, golden fried eggs over toast with fresh slices of tomato for breakfast lately 🍳
