Last night, we had our Chaplin, Father David Gaydosik, bless our new exterior sign displaying the emblem of our order. We believe the old one was original from our councils founding back in 1958!

The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal benefit society, open to men 18 years or older. Founded in New Haven, CT in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, the KofC cares for the financial needs of its members and their families through its insurance program. The St. John of Beverly Council was founded in 1967. Initially meetings and events were held in Beverly, OH before building our current facility in Churchtown, OH, in 1975.
Our members consist of Catholic gentlemen who attend St. John the Baptist Church in Churchtown, OH, Our Lady of Mercy Church in Lowell, OH, and St. Bernard Church in Beverly, OH. Currently we have over 300 members in our council. We strive to support the surrounding communities and parishes.
Situated in the beautiful rural setting of Churchtown, Ohio (13 minutes from downtown Marietta) the 4617 Home Corporation facility offers the host space to make their wedding, reception, anniversary, graduation, birthday, or special event the social gathering of the year! With space to comfortably seat 450 guests the possibilities are endless. The facility includes many great amenities, some included:
