Beware: there are several competitor websites trying to copy our slogan, advertisements, pictures, and even say they are us. I have received numerous complaints.
There are also fake game truck companies operating nationwide but they have no trucks, they call us to fulfill their already sold "tickets" but we are not affiliated.
Do your due diligence look online for reviews and ask around to other parents before booking or you may end up with the game truck pictured below. Here are some key indicators that you may have issues with you game truck order;
1. You bought a Groupon or Living Social = only failing game truck owners would consider this option and if they are willing to take 50% off a party then allow Groupon to take an additional 50% then they will not be able to afford maintenance, upgrades, cleanliness, etc. GOOD DEAL FOR CUSTOMER AT A RISK
2. Price is very high. This is more than likely a 3rd-party, fake company posing as a game truck owner. Price will be 30% higher than normal and it will seem like they are a big call center or act like they have "marketing & sales departments". We are the largest independently owned video game truck company in the area - there is another one that is a national franchise w/ big money behind it - neither one of us have a marketing or sales "department" - though my wife owns an advertising company herself - buyer beware.
3. Price is very low. This means that there will be some catch. Many times this means there will be hidden costs like mandatory add-ons, excessive travel fees, etc. One company advertised a video game party for $250 and the final receipt the customer sent me was $1500 after all the add-ons were tacked to the order.
4. If you are contacted with unsolicited information. Unfortunately, our competitors cannot be creative and rely on us for all their marketing ideas. This includes them sifting through every picture and post that is on every site or review to find out how to contact those customers to try to offer a cut price to persuade them to change. We do not focus on what others are doing and if we are doing something it is because created the entire concept. I have been doing this from nearly the start of the industry when there were no other companies but the national franchise and even that company still shops me with fake customer inquiries weekly. We are always original and do this for the love of gaming and making people happy. If someone contacts you about a video game party out of the blue from another company be cautious.
