Why celebrate for just one day when you can create an entire wedding weekend filled with unforgettable experiences?

We kicked off this beautiful Lake Como wedding weekend with an authentic Italian pizza party at the stunning Relais Villa Vittoria! From freshly made pizzas and beautiful floral arrangements to thoughtfully styled tables overlooking Lake Como, it was the perfect way to welcome guests to Italy. 🍷🤍

One of my favorite things about destination weddings is creating experiences that go beyond the wedding day itself. It’s about bringing your favorite people together, embracing the destination, and making memories that last long after the celebration ends.

“But shouldn’t I hire a wedding planner who lives in Italy?” 🇮🇹

Not necessarily.

If you’re planning your Italian destination wedding from the U.S., there can be some major advantages to having a planner who understands both sides of the experience.

You get someone who works within the communication style, time zones, payment expectations, and level of responsiveness you’re accustomed to—while I handle the very different reality of coordinating venues and vendors in Italy.

And there’s something else that’s incredibly important to me:

Transparency.

I don’t want a vendor recommendation to be influenced by how much money I can make from booking them.

I don’t accept hidden commissions or kickbacks from vendors I recommend. If a vendor offers a planner commission or discount, I ask whenever possible for that savings to be passed along to my couple instead.

My job is to advocate for you.

Add in a planning fee paid in USD, no Italian VAT added to my planning services, easier communication during U.S. business hours, and someone else handling those sometimes very patient follow-ups with Italian vendors...and having a U.S.-based planner starts to make a lot of sense.

You can have the Italian wedding experience without having to navigate every part of the Italian planning experience yourself. 😉

“It was an adventure that we will be talking about forever.” 🥹❤️

There really isn’t much more a honeymoon planner could ask to hear.

Lauren & Stephen spent 12 incredible days traveling through Amsterdam, Brussels, and Germany, and with three countries, multiple destinations, transportation, accommodations, activities, and all the little details in between, there were a LOT of moving pieces behind the scenes.

But that’s exactly the point—they shouldn’t have to worry about any of them.

My goal was for them to know where they needed to be, how they were getting there, and what came next so they could simply relax, enjoy their honeymoon, and experience it together. Hearing that everything was planned down to the smallest detail, that their honeymoon ran smoothly from start to finish, and most importantly, that it became an adventure they’ll be talking about forever is exactly why I love what I do. ❤️
