Such a fun and unique session with Nancy from New Leaf Pet Care đŸŸ

I got to spend the day photographing pets and their people which honestly felt a little like a dream job. We had dogs, cats, cuddles, treats, outdoor time, cozy in-home moments, and so many sweet interactions throughout the day.

Nancy has such a calm and compassionate approach to caring for animals and the people who love them, and it was really special getting to help create imagery that reflects that.

Also — a HUGE thank you to all of our pet models and their humans for opening your homes, wrangling your pets, driving to Bloomer, and trusting us with this project. You all made this session what it was đŸ¶đŸ±

I can’t wait to share more from this one when Nancy's website launches.

Sabrina came into the studio last week for a brand mini, and honestly
she’s exactly the kind of person you want planning your next trip.

She’s the face behind Gold Horizon Travel, and what I loved most about working with her is how grounded and genuine her approach is. No fluff. No overwhelm. Just real, thoughtful guidance from someone who truly knows what she’s doing.

She takes what can feel like a million moving pieces—flights, accommodations, itineraries—and turns it into something seamless and taken care of. The kind of planning that lets you just
 go.

What makes her different is simple: you’re working with her. Not passed off, not filtered through layers. Every trip, every detail gets her eyes on it. And that level of care? It shows.

We focused her session on clean, approachable images that feel like her brand—knowledgeable, warm, and easy to trust. The kind of photos that finally match the level of service she’s been providing all along.

If you’ve ever gone down the travel-planning rabbit hole and thought “there has to be a better way”
there is. And her name is Sabrina ✈

This is the part most people don’t see.

The inquiries I’m getting right now?
They’re for June, July, September.

Summer doesn’t book in summer.
It books in late winter and early spring.

If you’re thinking about:
‱ Senior photos
‱ Updated family photos
‱ Brand sessions before a fall launch

Now is the time to get on the calendar.

When you book early:
– You get first choice of dates
– We have time to plan intentionally
– You’re not scrambling

The clients who love their experience the most are the ones who don’t rush it.

It’s funny — this is “slow season” in photography.

Except
 it hasn’t been.

The past month has been full of brand sessions, and I’ve been reminded how smart it is to update your brand visuals before you need them.

If you’re launching something this spring

If your website is getting a refresh

If you’re quietly leveling up behind the scenes

Now is the time to photograph it.

When we shoot during your slower season:
‱ You’re less rushed
‱ We can be intentional
‱ You actually have time to use the images well

Your business deserves photos that match the level you’re operating at.

And I love being the person who helps you step into that next version.

There is nothing better than a client who shows up prepared and ready to create.

Spending the day with Kristy of Evolve Architects in Eau Claire was exactly that. She walked into her session with blueprints, finish samples, tools, sketches — all the tangible pieces of what she does every day. It made the shoot feel layered and intentional instead of staged.

Kristy designs primarily commercial spaces across the Chippewa Valley — senior living, multifamily, banks, offices, churches — guiding projects from conceptual design all the way through construction. What I love about her approach is that who you meet at the beginning is who you get the entire way through. No passing clients off halfway through the process. Just steady leadership and thoughtful design.

She also brought her drafter Carolyn and collaborated with Sam from Swanson Flooring & Design, which added so much depth to the session. Seeing the architect, drafter, and interior designer together — reviewing plans, handling materials, talking through ideas — is such a clear picture of how projects actually come to life.

It was clean. Modern. Focused. And honestly just fun.

I left that session energized. These are the kinds of creative, prepared, collaborative clients I love working with — the ones building something meaningful and bringing new ideas to our area.

More of this, please.

Spent time last week with the team at Symple Real Estate in Eau Claire updating their team photo and refreshing headshots for a few of their agents.

It was my first time meeting many of them, and I always appreciate getting to step into a business and see the people behind it. They were welcoming, easygoing, and ready to make it happen — which always makes for a smooth shoot.

What stood out to me is how much their brand centers around keeping real estate clear and straightforward. Their focus on transparency, integrity, and simplifying the process really aligns with their name. Buying or selling can feel overwhelming, and their mission is to make it feel more manageable and less stressful.

There’s something meaningful about updating photos during a season of growth. It puts real faces to the values a team talks about.

Thanks to Symple for trusting me to capture this chapter for you.

It feels like absolute warm sunshine walking into Four Seasons on Grand.

Sharyn’s little gem on Grand Avenue in Eau Claire is the kind of shop you don’t just “stop into” — you linger. You wander. You pick something up, put it down, and then pick it up again because somehow it already feels like it belongs in your home.

What started in 1959 as a flower shop has grown into this beautifully curated blend of blooms and gifts. Everyday flowers are her passion — the kind that make Tuesday feel special. And if you’re lucky, she’ll invite you back to the cooler to build your own floral masterpiece. Yes, really. It’s her favorite thing when customers want to be part of the process.

There’s no ego here. No pressure. No salesy vibe. Just real connection with real people.

The shop feels like a warm hug. Whimsical objects tucked into corners. Thoughtful gifts that make you rethink what “giving” can look like. Sharyn and her team greet you with genuine eye contact and help you talk through ideas — whether you need a tiny token or something that makes a lasting impression.

Small businesses like this are what make a town feel alive. Four Seasons on Grand makes shopping local fun again.

If you haven’t been in yet, go. And don’t be surprised if you leave with flowers, a gift you didn’t know you needed
and maybe a new favorite place.

There’s something extra special about photographing a real estate team inside a home they’re proud to stand behind.

I recently updated branding photos for the C&E Wurzer Builders Real Estate Team — Ashley, Jen, and Keanan — and we used one of their absolutely gorgeous model homes as the backdrop. And honestly? It couldn’t have been more fitting.

The clean lines. The natural light. The thoughtful finishes. Every corner reflected the quality and care they bring to their clients.

We focused on updated headshots, approachable team images, and lifestyle moments that feel polished but still warm and welcoming. The goal was to showcase not just what they sell, but who they are — knowledgeable, steady, and genuinely invested in helping people find the right fit.

When your brand photos align with the homes you represent, everything feels cohesive and elevated. Ashley, Jen, and Keanan — thank you for trusting me to capture this next chapter for your team.
