The Beck family came to me from Warrens for family photos this summer, and this session had a little extra meaning.

Their oldest is heading off to college this fall, so it was the perfect time to document this season of having everyone together.

And since it was also their anniversary, we had to make a stop at the spot where Mom & Dad got engaged. I mean, how could we not?

Such a fun evening with this family and a pretty perfect way to celebrate all of it.

🎹🎹When your senior has a dream of taking photos with a piano in a field… you find a piano and put it in a field.🎹🎹

Kittra's senior session was one of those sessions that was completely her. We brought her piano-in-the-field vision to life, then incorporated one of the things she loves most — color guard.

Of course, we had to get some fun images of her tossing her flag, too. The combination of the open field, the piano, the movement, and that gorgeous evening light made for such a unique session.

Some summer evenings just get it right.

Shantelle & Joey wanted sweeping fields, beautiful glowy light, and a relaxed summer feel for their engagement session — and we got all of it. We wandered through the fields, soaked up that gorgeous evening light, and made the most of a perfect Wisconsin summer night.

And then, because apparently an engagement session wasn't complete without it, they decided to end the evening by jumping off the dock into the lake.

Honestly, I couldn't have planned a better ending.

These two were so much fun to photograph, and I can't wait to see what next June brings for them. Counting down to wedding season already!

Lucy had the dreamiest vision for her senior session, and I was all in.

Her inspiration was full of lush greenery, natural textures, and urban landscapes, so we mixed all of those elements together to create a session that felt both timeless and completely her. We wandered through different settings, playing with the contrast between the greenery and the city for a gallery with lots of variety.

I love when seniors come with a vision for their session, and Lucy's was such a fun one to bring to life.

I loved getting to photograph Tara and her brand new space for Alt Studieau in Eau Claire.

Tara has created such a beautiful, cozy, welcoming space—and her approach to skincare is just as intentional. Alt Studieau offers a natural alternative to Botox and fillers through holistic facials designed to sculpt, lift, and refresh the face, along with buccal massage to help with TMJ, jaw tension, and headaches.

And the best part? No needles. Just skilled hands.

Tara is currently the only provider in the area offering this unique combination of holistic facial work and buccal massage, and I have a feeling people are going to be very excited to discover her.

I loved creating these images with Tara and capturing not just what she does, but the calm, thoughtful experience she has created for her clients. Her space feels like somewhere you can walk in, take a deep breath, and actually exhale.

Some of my favorite family sessions aren't about finding the perfect location—they're about documenting a place that already holds so many memories.

The West family wanted to capture their time at Grandma & Grandpa's house on the lake near Chetek. The summers spent together, the time on the water, the kids growing up around a place that feels like home.

We spent a sun-drenched evening at the beginning of August soaking up all of it—the lake, the light, the laughter, and the little in-between moments that make summer at the lake so special.

I absolutely loved bringing Amy's vision for Eudaimonia—a skin and soul sanctuary—to life.

Formerly Her Studio, Amy is stepping into this next chapter with a beautiful new space opening later this fall. Since the new space isn't quite ready yet, we brought most of her session into my studio and created images that feel calm, intentional, and completely her.

We also headed out into a field for some beautiful Reiki imagery and sprinkled in a few updated headshots along the way.

Amy had such a clear vision for this new chapter, and I loved getting to create alongside her. She was the absolute sweetest to work with, and I can't wait to see Eudaimonia come to life in her new space.

Brand photos can be polished, professional, and strategic... while still feeling like you.

That was exactly the goal for Hailey's brand session with Practitioners Rise.

Of course, we captured the essentials—the headshots, workspace, laptop moments, and all the content she'll need to show up confidently in her business. But we also intentionally wove in pieces of her life outside of work by spending part of the session in nature with her kiddos.

Because for so many entrepreneurs, your business isn't separate from your life. It's built around the people you love, the values you hold, and the life you're creating.

Those personal touches don't take away from your brand—they strengthen it. They help people connect with the person behind the business.
