Happy one year to the Kellers! 🤍

There’s something so special about knowing Wildflower Estate will always be the place where this chapter began. One year ago, these two filled the property with their favorite people and officially became husband + wife.

So grateful our little corner of the Eastern Shore gets to hold memories like these. Happy anniversary, you two!

The biggest wedding regrets couples don’t talk about until after the day is over…

1. Skipping a hair and makeup trial and not loving your final look

2. Missing cocktail hour and barely seeing the guests who came for you

3. Not eating your own wedding food

4. Not having a planner or coordinator and feeling stressed all day

5. No clear photo list so important people and reactions get missed

6. Forgetting to save details like your bouquet, menus, and keepsakes

7. No weather backup plan

8. A rushed getting ready timeline

9. No buffer time built into the schedule

10. No emergency kit with basics like fashion tape, meds, and stain remover

11. Forgetting breakfast and running on nerves alone

12. Letting outside opinions take over your vision

13. Spending big on décor but cutting photography or video

14. Skipping sunset portraits because the timeline ran late

15. Not taking a few quiet minutes alone together

16. No private last dance

17. Flying to your honeymoon the next morning completely exhausted

18. Focusing so much on perfection that you forget to be present

Save this and send it to a bride who needs to read it 🤍

Maybe the real wedding trend is actually enjoying all of it…

The planning, the cake, the space, the ceremony and everything in between. Your wedding should feel just as good as it looks.

Wildflower Estate, paired with the all-inclusive Boutique Bride experience, was created with exactly that in mind ✨

Let’s talk unsexy but essential wedding registry items you’ll actually be thankful for.

These aren’t the gifts you post on Instagram… but they’re the ones you’ll use every single week.

Here’s what couples always end up needing:

A step stool — you’ll use it way more than you think.

A basic tool set — even if neither of you is “handy.”

A fire extinguisher — boring, yes. Necessary, absolutely.

A vacuum you don’t hate using — this matters more than aesthetics.

Drawer organizers — quietly life changing.

A plunger — do not make this a Target emergency run lol.

A first aid kit — because life happens!

Matching laundry baskets — small detail, big peace.

Flashlights + extra batteries — essential for power outages and sometimes overlooked.

Storage bins for seasonal decor — future you will be forever grateful.

No, these aren’t the most exciting gifts. But they might be the most useful ones you receive.

Send this to a bride who’s building her registry 🤍

Just married in Stella’s Secret Garden ✨

Tucked into the trees and surrounded by greenery, Stella’s is one of three ceremony spaces at Wildflower Estate, giving our couples plenty of options when it comes to choosing where to say “I do.”

We’ve noticed more and more couples choosing smaller weddings. After hosting hundreds of weddings, here are 5 reasons why.

1. They actually get to spend time with their guests.
At a 250-person wedding, it’s easy to spend the entire night bouncing from table to table. With a smaller guest list, couples can have real conversations and actually enjoy the people they invited.

2. Less stress.
Fewer guests usually means fewer logistics, fewer opinions, and fewer things competing for your attention. And that often makes for a much more enjoyable wedding day.

3. More flexibility with the budget.
Instead of stretching the budget across hundreds of guests, couples can invest in the things that matter most to them. Whether that’s photography, food, entertainment, or an unforgettable honeymoon.

4. The day feels more personal.
Smaller weddings tend to feel less like an event and more like a celebration. You recognize every face in the room, and every guest is someone who truly matters to you.

5. More meaningful memories.
When you’re not rushing through the day trying to greet everyone, you have more time to take it all in. And those are usually the moments couples remember most.

Don’t get us wrong, large weddings can be incredible. But we’ve found that some of the most meaningful wedding days are the ones filled with the people who matter most.

There are the obvious things you look for in a wedding venue, and then there are the things you realize matter a lot once you actually start planning.

A few green flags we think should be non-negotiable:

1. A rain plan you actually like
Not just somewhere your ceremony can happen, somewhere you’d still be excited to get married.

2. A team that communicates
You should never feel like you’re chasing down answers or wondering what happens next.

3. Options
Different ceremony spaces, places for photos, indoor and outdoor areas. Having choices gives you way more flexibility as the day comes together.

4. A layout that makes sense
Your guests shouldn’t need a map to get from the ceremony to cocktail hour. Good flow makes the entire day feel easier.

5. A venue that feels good in person
Photos matter, but so does the feeling you get when you walk onto the property and can immediately picture your people there.

And yes, these are all things we care a whole lot about at Wildflower Estate🌿🤍
