If you happen to find this page, there’s not much to see. It’s basically inactive, a little reminder that we had a fun multi artist music event at Sparky’s back in 2018.

Friends, though we aren’t doing Troptoberfest at Sparky’s this year, I’m booked there for Wednesdays in October. I’ll be playing there on 10/30 from 6:30 to 10:00pm. If any of you want to come by and play a song or two, let me know. And on Monday 10/28 I’m hosting a party at Kiki’s with Cory Young from around 3pm to close. It’s just about a mile from Boondocks on Little Torch Key. If you are interested in joining us let me know. These are just casual fun get togethers at two of my favorite Keys hangouts. Kiki’s event may be a fundraiser.

Due to variety of scheduling conflicts and logistical issues, we are not going to put on the Troptoberfest event at Sparky’s Landing this year. Please pass the word. My apologies if you were hoping to perform. Maybe we can do it next year.

After months of planning.... our big event at Sparky’s happens tomorrow. See you there! Breakfast at Stuffed Pig is on at 8am.

All day show at Sparky's Landing! Halloween day, Wednesday October 31, 2018. 2pm to Close.

Hey y'all!

Our event is less than two weeks away. If you're like me, I bet you can't wait for the Pit Stop Parties, People's Choice Awards, MOTM, TRMAs and all your shows in Key West. I'm hoping all of you can contribute a CD or two to the raffles. Please comment below if you can.

Hey gang, Ty Thurman here. Here's the event schedule as of 9/29/18. (Subject to change.) Dale Clemons is still talking to one or two more artists interested in performing. Hopefully all people involved will be signed up for this page so we can all stay in touch in one place.

We have a very full roster and schedule! If any of you would like to pair up and perform as a duo, or if you'd prefer performing in a "round," let me know. You won't get as much time for your songs, but it may be more fun for you and it could help free up the schedule.

The band should be there all day, so you have the option of having them join you for a song, but we will need an mp3 and/or charts ahead of time, unless you have a really simple song that we can do on the fly.

Please let me know ASAP if you need to change your time slot. I'm hoping I've already accommodated all special requests.

I will assume individual performers will be singing and paying acoustic guitar/uke etc... If any of you are playing keyboards or things like electric guitar or bass, we will need to plan a little more. I will have a guitar amp and bass amp available in case you don't want to mess with your own. Keys can go straight into the PA. I may not have enough DI boxes, XLR cables, stands and mics, so bring your own if you can. Be sure they are marked well with your name so you get them back. I have two big mixers and powered speakers so we have the PA itself covered.

ALSO: There are some artists and their friends who may be looking for a ride up from Key West, so maybe this will be a place to help facilitate that.
