Plan to attend the largest, three-day fair in Northern Portage County where you’ll enjoy delicious food and find family fun for all ages. Held the third full weekend in July on the grounds of St. Joseph Parish, the Ox Roast Fair was started in 1964 by Fr. Hughes) to help pay for the new school at that time. The Ox Roast Fair now directly supports the educational and sacramental ministries of St. Joseph Parish. Come out & enjoy this wonderful community event. Not your typical church festival!

Weather cooperated, crowds didn’t disappoint, volunteers were amazing & the beef sold out by 6:30 p.m. Sunday! A huge thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers, sponsors, donators, vendors, and fair-goers! St. Joseph Parish is truly grateful and blessed.

DON’T FORGET FAIR TEAR-DOWN & CLEAN-UP!⁣
As soon as the Fair ends, folks are busy tearing down the Fair. Some extra hands on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to pitch in would be a great relief to those already tired from several weeks of preparation and working the Fair itself. Something as simple as walking the grounds and picking up trash is one way to lend a hand.

It was a hoppin’ good time at our Frog Jumping Contest again this year! Thank you to all who participated, to Kaley Furner for chairing the contest, to our frog wrangler crew (Jacob Ober, Joe Ober, John Ober), and to Deacon Gerry Scopilliti, John Kruis, Greg D’Aurelio, and Donny Sherbondy for their help with this fun event. Congrats to the top finishers who won cash prizes and a free t-shirt!
