For Such a Time as This, has been living in my heart for as long as I can remember. Coming from a family of seven children with six of us being girls, we learned from our mother how to create a beautiful, inviting home without having a lot of money. My sisters and I were educated in the art of creating beauty from the heart. Decorating just takes passion, it takes love – a love for romance, an eye

for natural beauty and detail and a desire to create the perfect atmosphere for those you care about…the kind of atmosphere that causes people to want to linger and stay. For Such a Time as This was finally born after my youngest daughter’s wedding. I have always wanted my own business, and coming from a family of mostly girls, and raising three daughters, I had a lot of practice putting together showers, weddings, holidays and special parties. After the reception, there was such a great response to the ambiance created, that I was asked by the owner of Horses in the Woods in Freedom, Ohio if I would consider becoming their special events decorator. And so began, “For Such a Time as This”

Whether you are planning a wedding, shower, birthday, graduation, corporate party, or just wanting a cozy evening for a special wine & cheese tasting – we can be as much or as little as you need us to be. Our goal is to help you make your event even more special by offering you all the charm, beauty and elegance you are looking for without the high cost.

We are ready for the Bride! Kelsey and Jake's wedding 2019. A special thank you to my sister Patricia for her love, time and her talents, my wonderfully kind and talented husband, my daughter Shannon for doing whatever I asked without complaining and my daughter Rachel for driving 2 hours to help us set up. It was a beautiful wedding!
