We said farewell to our final kitty today and it was, as always, bittersweet. I’m so glad she found a forever home that will love and cherish her. We had Marigold for 10 weeks and watched her go from a shy and quiet kitten to confident and spunky. So many people say - I could never do it because I’d get attached and love them so much. And it’s true, it isn’t easy. I do get attached and love every single one. But I’m glad for the opportunity to take care of these displaced kittens and to help them avoid euthanasia. It breaks my heart a little every time one finds a home and leaves us but I’m also very glad for the opportunity to save one little life. Out of all the cats in this world what are the chances that my life gets to cross paths with theirs…✨
