RASE is looking for future students grade K-8 interested in enrolling for the academic school year 2016-2017 RASE offers the rare opportunity of close instruction with your child. RASE is perfect for students with visual & performing arts based needs who love fine arts, dance, theatre or music. Congratulations to our Beanstack Challenge winners!

We are excited to celebrate two RSAA students who won prizes through our drawing for our Beanstack reading challenges!

Beanstack helps us encourage students to build strong reading habits, track their reading, and celebrate their progress along the way. We are proud of our students for participating and continuing to grow as readers.

We also want to give a special thank you to our community partners who generously donated prizes to support our reading program. Your kindness helps us celebrate students, encourage reading, and create positive memories connected to books and learning.

Wake Me Up When September Ends!

RSAA’s next Spirit Day is coming up on Thursday, October 1.
Students are invited to wear pajamas or comfy cozy clothes as we say goodbye to September and welcome October!

A few reminders:
✅ Pajamas or comfy cozy clothes are allowed
✅ Clothing should be school-appropriate (No Slippers, no Crocs, and No hoodies)
✅ Students who are not participating should wear regular uniform

We can’t wait to see everyone’s cozy Spirit Day style!

RSAA families, this is a reminder that Picture Day will be Tuesday, October 6.

Please mark your calendars and be on the lookout for any picture ordering information that may come home with your child.

A few quick reminders:

Tomorrow is our first Spirit Day of the year!

In honor of Dolly Parton Day, students are encouraged to dress in country-inspired style. Think pink, rhinestones, sparkles, big hair, and cowboy or cowgirl boots!

Students may wear jeans as part of their Spirit Day outfit, but jeans should not be torn.

Students who are not participating in Spirit Day should come to school in regular uniform.

Today, our RSAA History Club students had the opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom at the Ashbrook Luncheon at Ashland University.

Our 8th grade students participated in a discussion of one of Abraham Lincoln’s speeches alongside university professors, giving them the opportunity to examine history, ideas, and leadership through thoughtful conversation. They then heard from Jonathan Turley, professor, best-selling author, and Fox News analyst.

We were also honored to be joined by Mrs. Gorman, founder of RSAA, and Gwyn Jones, an Ashbrook Scholar and RSAA alum.

Experiences like this give our students the chance to engage with history in a meaningful way, ask questions, hear different perspectives, and see that learning does not end at the classroom door.

We are proud of our History Club students for representing RSAA so well today at Ashland University!
