This was my first time shooting on Super 16mm film, and honestly, it was so worth it. I used my Krasnogorsk-3 (K-3) paired with the Sony FX3 to capture both film and digital footage at Kingwood Center Gardens.

There’s something about loading the film, hearing the camera run, and not knowing exactly what you’ll get until it’s developed, that unpredictability makes every frame feel intentional.

I had the privilege of filming the wedding of Michael and Aliyah, who are such a blessing and dear friends to me and my family. I thank God for their lives, their example, and the way they keep Him at the center of their marriage. This was my first time creating a film entirely on Super 8mm, without anything digital. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to create something so special for you, my friends.
