Holding this wedding a little closer to my heart today.

I had the privilege of planning Vero and Masa’s wedding this summer, and I’ll always be grateful that I got to be a part of their day.

Vero was a joy. Every time we spoke, she somehow managed to make me laugh and she had a way of making every conversation memorable. At the end of the day, what she wanted for her wedding was really quite simple: a beautiful day with lots of flowers, surrounded by her family and friends, celebrating the people she loved most.

Vero passed away last week, and my heart is with Masa, her family, her dog Lewie, and everyone who loved her. I’ve found myself thinking about their wedding day and how blessed we are to have photographs and memories that let us return to moments like these.

I’m honored that I got to play a small part in Vero and Masa’s story, and even more grateful that I got to know Vero, even for a little while.

Hug your people a little tighter today. 🤍

The truth? Wedding days are my favorite part. That’s when I come alive!

After months of planning, emails, moodboards, texts, phone calls, and tiny decisions, wedding day is when everything finally comes to life. Watching a vision become reality never gets old, and seeing my couples experience it for the first time is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. 🥰

One year since Laura and Braxton said “I do”! 🤍🩵

Their spring garden party wedding was so full of joy, unforgettable details, and the kind of love you can just feel. From the sweetest tributes and vows to the most fun on the dance floor, and of course, a First Look for their VIPs (Very Important Pups), it was beautiful in all the right ways. Not to mention, Laura was the most stunning bride!

It was a wedding I felt so honored and excited to be a part of, and I’m STILL swooning over it. 🥰 Happy One Year Anniversary, Laura and Braxton!

Happy One Year Anniversary to the Klawetters!! 🧡💛

Jordin and Collin were such a joy to work with — always kind, always fun, and so thoughtful with each other. What stood out most on their sun-soaked wedding day was how intentional they were, even in the smallest details. With all the excitement, they still made space to stay present and truly enjoy one another.

I’ll never forget Jordin surprising Collin with a meaningful gift, a custom bolo tie so he could have his own “second look” for the reception. The smile on his face said it all!

It was a beautiful ceremony, an incredible reception, and such a meaningful celebration from start to finish. So grateful I got to be part of it. Cheers to Year One! 🥂

Happy 1st Anniversary to these two absolute gems! 💖

Getting to call Perrin and Ian my dearest friends first, and then having the honor of flying out to Florida to plan and coordinate their wedding, was such a gift. From homemade pizzas on their wedding night (forever one of my favorite moments 🍕) to the effortless, model-status glow they both carried, Perrin and Ian’s wedding day was the perfect reflection of who they are — joyful, vibrant, and so in love with life.

One year down, and somehow it only makes their story sweeter. I’ve missed having them in Austin, but I’ve loved watching their new adventures unfold in New Hampshire. Cheers to a marriage that’s just as fun, bold, and full of flavor as your wedding day, Perrin and Ian!! 🥂

It’s my 35th(!!!) birthday today so it felt like the right moment to re-introduce myself! 🥳

It’s been over a year since I launched my business, Nikki Hsueh Events, and I still feel so lucky and blessed that I get to do work I genuinely love. I’ve always been drawn to planning, hosting, and bringing people together, and building this business has been a way to turn that love into something real.

This past year was full of growth, learning, and a lot of change, which is why my Word of the Year is “rebuild”. Rebuilding with more clarity, intention, and trust in what lights me up. I love creating thoughtful, beautiful events, but even more than that, I love building community. I love the energy of a room when people feel welcomed, connected, seen and known, and taken care of. I love collaborating with talented creatives, sweating the small details, building the spreadsheets, and watching an idea turn into an experience people actually FEEL.

January was full in the best way, and I can’t wait to finally start sharing what I’ve been working on. This next season feels exciting, aligned, and full of momentum and I’m so grateful for the people I’ve met along the way, the rooms I’ve been invited into, and the work I get to keep saying “yes” to.

Cheers to another year of planning, connection, and building something joyful and meaningful! THIRTY-FIVE & THRIVE! 💛🥰
