📢 A Note from Golden Plated: Reflection, Rest, and Reopening
To our Golden Plated Family,
Running a business is a marathon, not a sprint. Recently, I had to make the difficult but necessary decision to step back and focus on my mental and physical health. To serve you at 100%, I had to take a moment to reset, and I want to thank you all for the grace and support you’ve shown during this time.
🕊️ Honoring Our Neighbors
It has been a heavy time for the Manitowoc food scene. We were heartbroken to hear about the closing two of our local favorites:
Perkins: We will deeply miss those late-night chocolate cream pies and giant muffins.
Wendy’s: A local staple—we’re sure going to miss those Frostys. Our hearts go out to the staff and owners of these local landmarks. Manitowoc won’t be the same without them.
🏖️ From a Tent to a Tradition
This past February 14th, Golden Plated officially hit 8 years! It’s wild to look back at where we started: selling nachos under a tent at Red Arrow Park while the Lighthouse played volleyball . From that tent to a food truck, and now to our own brick-and-mortar—it’s been an incredible journey.

We aren’t going anywhere!
The Comedy Show is STILL ON: Join us this Sunday, March 22, 2026, for a night of much-needed laughs.
Grand Reopening: We will officially reopen the week after Easter.
What to Expect: We are returning with new hours and a lineup of fresh specials for the spring months that we can't wait for you to taste.
We will continue posting to you updated.
