The Hive has been closed while our family took time to grieve the loss of our mom. We are taking a small step forward and will reopen Friday, August 28 at 3 PM, beginning our new fall hours.

We are deeply grateful for every message, kind word, prayer, and act of understanding. Your patience allowed us to be together when we needed it most. Your support has carried us through some very difficult days.

We have missed you and look forward to welcoming everyone back to The Hive for pizza, burgers, dirty sodas, iced coffee, and the familiar faces that make this place feel like home.

Thank you to everyone for the overwhelming outpouring of kind words, love, and support following the loss of our mom. Our family has read your messages, and they mean more than we can express.

In respect to Mom’s wishes, there will be no funeral, memorial service, or obituary. She was very clear about how she wanted to be remembered…

Don’t wait until tomorrow. Don’t wait until you have time. Make the time.

Call someone you love. Go visit them. Sit with them. Tell them what they mean to you while they are still here to hear it.

Thank you for remembering our mom, Lang Mercier, and for respecting her final wishes. ❤️

THE HIVE WILL BE CLOSED

Today, our family lost the heart of our family, our beautiful mom, Lang.

There really are no words for this kind of loss. Right now, pizza, schedules, business, and everything else simply have to wait. We need to be together as a family, hold onto one another, and say goodbye to a woman who meant more to us than we could ever put into words.

Many of you know that The Hive is more than a business to us. It is part of our family, and so many of you have become part of that extended family.

We know you will understand why we need to close our doors for a little while.

Please give us some time to grieve, remember our mom, share our stories, and take care of one another.

We will let you know when we are ready to reopen.
