Due to the continued labor problems with our fireworks provider, the Manistique Independence Day Committee has decided to hold the city's fireworks on Folkfest weekend - Saturday, July 8th.

The Independence Day Parade will take place on July 1st (Saturday) keeping with our long-standing tradition of the Independence Day activities will take place on the first Saturday in July, and Folkfest Manistique events will take place on the second Saturday in July.
