Was a crazy weekend of bbq. Started off with an all night cook for Valley Bank’s customer appreciation bbq. Got 1 hr of sleep and then off to the Whitehall Rodeo & Events PRCA rodeo for the same day. It was a bust as a wind storm that broke our awning and flipped the tables. Day 2 was much better. My wife said we should change our name to White Trash Bbq. (We looked pretty ghetto with the damaged tent.). Thank you L&F Market for always taking care of my amazing meat orders. Thank you to all the amazing community of Whitehall for supporting our business. We sold out on time right at the end. Big special thanks to my fam for all the help. Couldn’t have done it without you.

Sometimes when you cook for a crowd a lot you get a little burnt out on the smoked meats. One of my favorite things to cook is bbq chicken cooked directly over coals. A real simple seasoning and some bbq sauce at the end. Soo good and my favorite grilled food Throw in some fresh corn and life is good. Cheers to summer!!!

Day 2 at the Whitehall Rodeo arena will not disappoint. Our award winning bbq will be served at the 2nd annual Bulls Broncs and Barrels. If you plan it right you might even see our twin nephews doing a little mutton busting. Look forward to seeing and feeding you all!! Mark your calendars. Saturday June 28th.

Join us for our second annual event! This will be our first official Gathering at our newly rebuilt arena! There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony with live music, drinks, food vendors and more Friday night !

Come on out to Whitehall this Friday June 27th for the ribbon cutting of the Whitehall Rodeo Arena. We will be serving up our award winning bbq and that Bacon Gouda Mac and cheese. There will be some live music from 7-9. Come on out to eat drink and dance the night away.

My buddies thought I was crazy throwing a 25 lb brisket on the smoker at 645am for a 1:00 pm serving time. My proved them wrong. Hot and fast baby and pulled at 12:30 to rest. shouldn’t doubt me. Came out money and was gone before I could take the pic of the final product. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve cooked and damn it felt good. New injection for the brisket today and rocked my brisket good. Thanks Aaron!! Congrats to my youngest favorite stepson Tim on graduating today.

From sunrise to sunset, the smokers were rolling. We did a big wedding cater and had to call in a big gun. My buddy Frank Bryant from Last Best Barbecue, LLC had to come and help with his smoker to feed the 240 people at this wedding. We rocked a whole hog along with 16 butts that we got from L&F Market. Our ladies Amanda Ness and Leann Bryant did the appetizers and garnished the whole hog. It was a long but successful day. Can’t thank my wife and friends enough for helping make this happen
