Our friends at Summer Stomp Music Fest are throwing a party to close out the summer this Saturday, Summer Stomp Presents: Concert By the Creek Vol. II at Mackey's Hideout in McHenry, IL!

Over six hours of outdoor live music on two stages ft. Miles Over Mountains, Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy, Fox Crossing Stringband, River Valley Rangers & Tiny Country!

As some of you may have already heard, there will unfortunately be no more Down on the Farm Music Festival. We appreciate all of the love and support you have shown us year after year. Words cannot express how much our farm family means to us! You are all truly one of a kind.

Even though DOTF as you know it is no more, Ross Taylor is planning an annual music festival called Camp Down. With our DOTF community at its core, we hope you can join him as he continues the DOTF spirit. Keep an eye out for posts on this page and Camp Down’s page for details to come.

Again, we cannot thank you enough for the great memories! Maybe some day, we’ll all be on the farm together again. Until then, be well.

Dear Farm Family,
It's been bit of a rough year so far, but in the spirit of DOTF and how it started off as Fredfest. Just trying to raise money to get Fred (the cat) a leg surgery and successfully btw! We're asking for lil help with this fur baby. AJ has worked behind the scenes at DOTF for the last 4 years with Nathan, Jenn, and all the guys! So it'd be much appreciated and we'd be very grateful if y'all could give a little or share this and get this pupper the help she needs!! Thank you all so much and much love to you all!!!

If you know me or Nathan, you'll know that our 13 year old pomeranian, AJ, is our baby. We adopted her when she was 9 years old and have been through countless vet appointments making sure she is as healthy and happy as possible. She has had a tough road, but has come out stronger with each issue...

Hello Farm Family,

We come to you today with the heaviest of hearts, saddened by recent developments and tough news about our beloved festival. Due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, the land we use for the festival is no longer available. For this reason we have made an incredibly difficult decision, one we hoped to never make, Down on the Farm festival, as we have come to know and love, will not be happening in 2019.

That being said, we are working on continuing the tradition in 2020 and beyond. Stay tuned as more of this planning comes to fruition, we’ll be posting updates on the DOTF FB page, Instagram and Twitter.

We absolutely cannot say THANK YOU enough to the Krapf family for hosting all these years (and the Heidrichs prior to them) on their farm lands - and to all our families and friends who we couldn’t have done it without - all of your amazing hard work and selflessness is the fuel DOTF ran on. Also to all of YOU in the community we cherish so much, ten years of growing together, raging together, loving life together - creating countless memories never to be forgotten, we thank you. And of course to all the incredible bands, volunteers, workers, production crews, vendors, and everyone else who made it all possible - thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This isn’t goodbye, it’s more of a “see you soon as we get things figured out” - we’re still here and will party with you all once again.
