In life, my biggest driver has always been believing that something better is waiting ahead. This is what my parents taught me and what i try to inculcate to my daughters. Stay positive!
Every time I took a risk,
every time I didn’t know exactly where I was going,
every time things didn’t go as planned,
it led me to something better.
I truly believe in that and will always 🙏🏽
But we don’t always realize how far we’ve come.
We focus on whether things are okay,
instead of pausing and saying: this is good.
Sometimes, I like to stop for a moment.
To look back.
And remember that the version of me from a few years ago
is somewhere along this path.
And that the journey itself is worth acknowledging.
