And that is exactly what I am doing almost every day this month!

Because of the busyness, we are filling our freezer with yummy stuff and invite you to stop in and shop. I will keep the inventory updated online so you can order ahead, if you would like. This week we will definitely be here on Thursday and Friday. Next week by chance.

Welcome to Mid Summer! Our catering department is getting busy, but we always look forward to cooking fresh food for you every week. (That said, if you are thinking of hosting a party or even need a dish to bring to a potluck, I am your gal!)

Here are three delicious fresh entrees to choose from, plus a freezer
with much more.

We would like to recap how things work with our online ordering system. We now offer two pickup locations. Before ordering, please choose a location.

At our kitchen at 53b Manchester Valley Road, you can order any of the fresh entrees and any menu items in our freezer. We are usually here for pick up on Wednesday and Thursday and this week on Friday, as well. Every week, you will see the pickup days and times when you place your order.

For our pick up location at InMotion, orders are dropped off by 10am on Thursday. and are available for pick up anytime before 3pm that day. We offer two fresh entrees per week at this location. These two healthy options are made with lean protein and lots of veggies. These items are also available at our Manchester Valley Road location.

Amy’s On The Road

Chef Amy Chamberlain didn’t want to give up cooking for people when she closed her restaurant last fall. “The Perfect Wife Restaurant and Tavern” had been in business for 23 years, but had run its course for a variety of reasons including Amy wanting more family and fun time. Her son was now a teenager and the nighttime work life of a chef-owner cut into so many opportunities for Amy to see him play sports, attend dances, heck, even eat supper together. Amy loves music festivals and concerts and with pretty much all of them occurring at night or on the weekends, Amy couldn’t feed that part of her soul either.

Welcome to Amy’s new creation, “Amy’s On The Road” which will offer breakfast and lunch made in and served out of a 1968 23” Airstream “Land Yacht” trailer that has been converted into a contemporary commercial kitchen. When word got out that Amy was buying a converted Airstream and embarking on a “food-truck” offering in Manchester, a long-time friend, former Chef, and patron of The Perfect Wife called her to suggest a partnership. Gary Walker liked the idea and was looking to get back into cooking after a hiatus from his 10-year Chef stint at the Barrow’s House in Dorset. Amy liked the idea too and a partnership was born.

Amy and Gary intend on opening “Amy’s On The Road” in June in the grass lot across from R.K. Miles. (Where Sherry’s used to be.) The name is a tribute to it’s roadside location. It is also a sort of foreshadowing of how Gary is going to answer the “Where’s Amy?” question when she is off attending one of her son’s sporting activities or at a music festival.

Amy’s On The Road. Breakfast and lunch Monday through Saturday. 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Daily specials. Always a vegetarian and ethnic choice on the menu. Fresh, Food, Fast. Thanks for checking out our story - we hope to see you when we open in June 2019!
