Witches Night Out in Manchester was a smashing success. The Manchester Mill on the Water was pleased to be able have a collaboration with the Manchester DDA and local merchants to host the final event of the evening, the "witches gathering at the Mill". Witches collected magic potions through out the town and later witches, warlocks and children danced the night away in a large group to "Thiller". It truly was a great night for all of downtown Manchester, that so many merchants worked hard to see this event come to fruition Witches Night Out is becoming a Halloween tradition like no other in Washtenaw County. We are grateful Julie and Cale chose our venue to celebrate the beginning of their lives together with family and friends, and you couldnt have imagined a more magical day blessed with rain and a double rainbow.

Such an honor it was to host and be a judge for the Manchester Fair Queen today at the Manchester Mill on the Water. We spent the afternoon interviewing a dozen young ladies and Karli Ann and I were so impressed with the responses we received. If it was up to me, they would all be the Queens of the Manchester Fair, but it doesn't work that way. Looking forward to the Queens Coronation on Tuesday. See ya all this week at the Fair!

The Manchester Mill on the Water had a wonderful time hosting the Baby Shower of Daniella Magee. Friends and family traveled near and far for this fun surprise event overlooking the historic River Raisin. Daniella traveled from Dallas, Texas just to visit family for a few days unaware that the surprise party was planned for a month by Dawn Tennant Donnelly and Ken Magee . Another great event at the Manchester Mill on the Water. Looking forward to hosting the next party when Baby Sofia arrives!

The Manchester Mill on the Water was honored to be selected to host the Celebration of Life for an American hero. William Zsenyuk served for decades as a law enforcement leader in Detroit, Milan and Manchester. He mentored 100s of young law enforcement officers. Bill lived a full life and made a difference in so many ways. It was a beautiful send off capped off by a 21 gun salute over the River Raisin. It was a pleasure to work with the familiy of Bill and we were amazed to see generations of law enforcement officers come pay their respect. While also having the Sheriff's Honor Guard stand tall. Thank you from Dawn Tennant Donnelly and Ken Magee to Michael Zsenyuk and the rest of the family.
