[Manchester, TN] – [March 28th, 2025] – Killer Karaoke is set to debut on March 28th, 2025 at 7 pm CST, with doors opening at 6:30pm. The event will be held at The Church@117 in Manchester, TN 37355. Tickets are available at the door for $7 or online at www.crashcoursetheater.com/killer-karaoke. The event will also be streaming on Zoom LIVE for those who want to join in on the fun virtually.
Prepare yourself for an unforgettable evening of thrilling intrigue, catchy tunes, and unexpected twists as Killer Karaoke combines the excitement of karaoke with the suspense of a murder mystery. This groundbreaking new experience is set to take the stage by storm, blending mystery, music, and fun in a way few have ever seen before.
Killer Karaoke is a fun and unique combination of Karaoke, the Mafia game, and Murder Mystery! This event gives participants the chance to not only showcase their singing skills but also solve a thrilling murder mystery.This event will feature a carefully crafted mystery with hidden clues scattered throughout the night's performances. Contestants will sing their favorite songs while keeping an eye out for the key evidence that could crack the case. Work together to solve the mystery, but be careful.... someone(s) got ulterior motives.
“We’ve taken three of the best events in the world—karaoke, the game Mafia, and murder mystery—and combined them into a truly unique and interactive experience,” said Will Prater, the charismatic host of Killer Karaoke. “It’s a perfect mix of suspense, music, and laughs, and we can’t wait for people to experience it. Who says karaoke has to be just about singing?”
So, how does it work?
1.) Show up! All attendees will have the option to sing, slay, or do both. (Meaning if one doesn't want to do karaoke or be a part of the murder mystery, they have that option.) We also have virtual seats available for anyone who wants to participate in the murder mystery without being physically in the building.
2.) There are a variety of ways to gain clues.... Sing a song, play a game, participate in the online discussion, pay attention to song selections and performances, etc. Guests can perform a karaoke song related to their character's backstory or emotions, adding another layer of interaction to the story. More twists in the mystery are revealed and guests need to pay attention to every performance, as songs might hint at the killer or provide false leads.
3.) There will be four sections... The intro, two breaks, and the finale. As the karaoke rounds progress, the tension rises and the audiences demands satisfaction. Each song could reveal clues or trigger interactions with other guests, making the experience even more immersive.
4.) And the audience (both virtual and in the building) will evolve into a "witch hunt", trying to figure out who the murderer(s) is/are during BOTH breaks. If they figure it out, awesome! YAY! The audience wins. BUT... was it the murderer? If not, then they've just sentenced an innocent person to death.
How to win:
Pay attention to all the clues and listen carefully! There is a wolf (or two) amongst the sheep, tread carefully and they can be found.
The game ends one of two ways: The murderer is found out and everyone celebrates! OR mass carnage occurs with the murderer(s) getting away with it. Either way, fun will be had. FUN WILL BE HAD.
