Not often do we get to sit and enjoy the tables we design. We don’t always get to bask in the glow of candlelight and chat with kindred souls. People that love and care about us and share in our thoughts.

Today, we are grateful to get to do just that.
We are grateful for our friends, our colleagues, and most importantly our couples.
We are grateful that we have so many people in our life that trust us.

To celebrate their joy, to design beautiful environments for the most special times in their life, and to squeeze them in a warm embrace when everything is more than they could have ever dreamed.

I can’t wait for the next year of love, celebration and warm embraces.

So many things have happened in the past 365 days.
This week we celebrated one year of creating an inclusive, nurturing, and genuine planning business.

When we created One Bell Designs, we did so with a major purpose.. to create spaces for our couples that felt safe, a home.

Obviously we want to create this feeling for all our couples but especially for the LGBTQIA+ couples that love fiercely and sometimes have to fight ferociously for their love.

So when I met Carla about a year ago, we also had a conversation about how we can create an easily accessible group or list of people that are openly q***r and can give couples a peace of mind on the days that deserve nothing less than unbridled joy and celebration.

So here’s the beginning of The Gay Agenda .. a group of LGBTQIA+ people that want community and to have a safe home to have conversations, connect with people that have all different skills, and can help harbor a space; For joy, celebration, love, and everything that comes along with it.

So happy anniversary to us! We got to celebrate with people that make us feel most like us and we can’t wait to see who else would like to join us in the future!

The weekend of Amaryllis & Charlie was a magical one. It was a joy and a pleasure to help them put their big day together and moments like this make it feel so special.

I started in the wedding biz as a dress consultant. I am the daughter of a seamstress and know my way around a bustle (or a safety pin if the bustle doesn’t make it to the dance floor). Helping people feel beautiful in their bodies on such a special day is a gift.
