Dear friends,
For the last fifteen years earth sky time has thrived by keeping our doors wide open. We have always seen ourselves as a sanctuary for folks hungry for wholesome food, shared skills & creativity, ecstatic fun and genuine human connection. Our business and our hearts have grown by welcoming loved ones and strangers alike. Now in the face of this pandemic, that type of openness seems so distant. Now we have no choice but to deeply contemplate how we can responsibly serve our community. A few days ago that meant firing the oven, doing some extra sanitization and keeping our farm store open. But as the warnings, closures and the spread of this virus have intensified, we have had to re-evaluate our decision.

Our plan of action to keep ourselves and you as safe as possible is to take a break. We are closing our kitchen and our bakery for two weeks. We are not accepting anyone new to join our crew. Our farm store is closed and we are asking our local friends not to visit. Besides deep cleaning during this time we will be thinking about ways to get food to you in a safe way in the near future.

Please keep supporting other local producers- all of whom do not have the same lifestyle/living arrangements that we do and have much less traffic through their production spaces.

We are eternally grateful to our crew, family and extended community of friends. This global struggle illustrates just how connected we earthlings are. As we ponder survival and think about the beauty of everything we’ve taken for granted, let’s reach out to each other any way we can. We may be separated and we may soon face hardships but we can still express our love and find ways to take care of each other.
