MPCC Update - 12:30pm

✅ Power has been fully restored at the Manassas Park Community Center.

The pool has reopened, fitness equipment is available, and all facility operations have returned to normal.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during the outage.

THE ENTIRE MPCC FACILITY IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE EVENING DUE TO THE POWER OUTAGE CREATED BY THE STORMS.

🚨 Due to a power outage, MPCC is operating on generator power tonight, 6/22/2026.

Summer camp parent pick-up will continue as scheduled this evening. Due to ongoing power issues in certain areas of the facility, the pool is closed and all remaining swim lessons and group exercise classes scheduled for this evening have been canceled.

Participants enrolled in canceled swim lessons will receive a credit on their account.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as utility crews work to restore power. Updates will be provided as they become available.

Not all “dad jokes” are actual jokes… some are just legendary sayings. 😄

One of our staff shared this memory of their dad:
Every time they went car shopping, when the salesman gave a price, their dad would say: “What, for that piece of junk.” and start walking away.
And somehow… it worked. He always managed to get a lower price. Family and friends even took him along when it was time to buy a car.
