Out of thousands and thousands of nominations across the U.S., I am honored and humbled (and still a little stunned) that Dee Kay Events is named one of the Best Wedding Planners & Designers in the U.S. for 2026 by Loverly . 💕
When I sat down to gather photos for this post, I ended up going through recent weddings and it stopped me in my tracks a little.
Wedding days move so fast. I joke that I sometimes black out and don’t remember half of what happened because I’m so focused on the timeline, the details, the people, the weather, the flowers, the chairs, the candles, allllll the things.
But looking back at all of these celebrations reminded me just how beautiful and precious each one was.
Not just because they were beautiful (although, my God, they were beautiful!) but because of the people.
The couples who trusted me with one of the biggest days of their lives. The families who welcomed me in. The creative partners who somehow take an idea living in my brain and make it even better than I imagined. The teams who work beside me until the very last candle is blown out.
To be able to look back at all of these spectacular weddings, created for equally spectacular humans, and realize that this is actually my job?
I have the best job in the world.
