Art Church Weddings was created from a de-sanctified 1873 Victorian Gothic Church. Thoughtfully transformed into a one-of-a-kind wedding venue that blends timeless architecture with artistic character. Original gothic windows, soaring ceilings, and preserved architectural details provide a romantic, intimate setting. What makes Art Church Weddings creates an atmosphere that feels meaningful, warm, and visually unforgettable. We believe in simple, transparent pricing with no hidden fees. 7% sales tax not included.
Standard Wedding Package
Includes exclusive access to the venue, ceremony and reception setup, tables and chairs, and access to our 2x 'getting-ready’ suites.
Single Day Wedding: Day use for ceremony. No reception 9:00-6:00pm $1200
9 am access. In most cases the bride and bridesmaids get ready in the downstairs studio suite. Includes a full kitchen and 1.5 bath. Art Church ceremonies can host up to 80 guests. Includes day before rehearsal access. Ask about 2x reception halls within blocks. No over night guest suite.
Wedding Ceremony: 2x days and 1x overnight suite $1500
Access anytime after 2:00pm pre-wedding day. This allows additional time to move wedding items, decorate, wedding rehearsal, optional rehearsal dinner location and over night suite. Example: Friday wedding rehearsal, optional rehearsal dinner, and overnight stay for 2-4 guests. Saturday Wedding for up to 80 guests. Check out by 6p.
~No Sunday or 3rd day access.
Wedding Ceremony: 3 days and 2 nites $1800
This is a convenient option with use of near by reception hall. It includes 2:00pm pre-wedding day access which allows additional time for pre-wedding needs including full kitchen prep work, decorating, wedding rehearsal, rehearsal dinner location, and 2x nights for 2-4 guests. Day of ceremony up to 80 guests. Reception hosted at alternative location. Check out at 2p on Sunday or the third day.
Elopement: $100 per hour on a weekday. Friday-Sunday 3hr minimum/$300 plus $100 per additional hour.
This is for couples that want a shared experience in an uplifting space for an affordable price. Enjoy full access to Art Church Iowa on a weekday for $100 per hour. Shot Gun Wedding: Show up ready to go! Complete your vows and capture the moment within 1 hour=$100. Add more time to enjoy the artfully painted church while the bride prepares in the downstairs suite. Share this milestone with up to 8 guests. Main St businesses are one block away. 3 hour minimum/$300 on Friday & Saturday plus $100 per additional hr. Or add 1x over night for $300 and stop the clock. Meaning: $600 gets all day access for wedding and social time. Up to 8 guests. 1x over night for bride and groom. Include Art House Iowa next door for 1x day/night for $400. Both Art Church & Art House 1x day/night $1000
